Brooke Waters

Brooke Waters is the Lead EC Teacher and Support Specialist at Equalize Sensory Services. A proud first-generation college graduate, Brooke earned her B.A. in Deaf Education from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She holds an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education and an M.A.Ed. in Severe and Profound Disabilities.

Brooke brings diverse experience across public schools and schools for the Deaf, supporting students from preschool through 12th grade. Her roles have included classroom and itinerant Teacher of the Deaf, special education resource teacher, and extended content classroom teacher.

Brooke is passionate about empowering all students to become independent, successful adults. She is committed to educating, mentoring, and collaborating with fellow teachers to ensure they are equipped with the skills needed to meet the diverse needs of their students. Brooke is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
