Tracey Measamer
Tracey Measamer is the Lead Teacher of the Deaf at Equalize Sensory Services. She earned her degree in Education of Deaf Children, from the University of North Carolina. Having taught largely in public schools since 1999, she is experienced in self-contained, residential, separate, resource and itinerant settings. Her career includes in depth teaching experience in Auditory-Verbal, American Sign Language, Total Communication, Auditory-Oral, and Cued Speech. In addition to teaching toddlers and school aged children, she teaches American Sign Language at the collegiate level, and has presented at various trainings and conferences throughout her career. She also serves on the State Advisory Board for the outcomes of Deaf and Hearing Impaired Children, and is an active member of the North Carolina Association of the Deaf, Hearing Loss Association of America, and the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Tracey resides in beautiful central North Carolina with her loving husband and her handsome sons, and can usually be found with a book in her hand when she isn’t teaching or traveling.
